Sanity – Training and Equipment District<\/span><\/p>\n

With the help of Sanity’s training facility, AD7 relearned some of her old skills quickly- really quickly. \u00a0The whole ordeal was quite different than she had expected. \u00a0Back in her day, both a physical <\/span>and<\/span><\/i> mental strain was needed to relearn techniques after so long. \u00a0However, the \u201ctraining\u201d she\u2019d received up to this point had been more like unlocking old consciousness with a computer. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The change made sense to AD7 given the new technology of the day. \u00a0She had quite literally been brought back to life from a burn corpse. \u00a0So a little memory reconstruction was more than plausible. \u00a0Unfortunately, the machine and its magic couldn\u2019t do everything. \u00a0Although she knew how to do some of her more basic moves, only brief portions of her past came to light.<\/span><\/p>\n

Instead, AD7 was reminded of more changes due to the past. \u00a0Her old pride and joy, the Engineering Talent Set, was no more. \u00a0Instead of building odd machines, there was a Mech Talent Set that used mechanical suits. \u00a0She could make and alter another suit. \u00a0However, she already knew that her friend Eighty-Seven would get <\/span>very<\/i><\/b> jealous.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, AD7 was taking a break from the whole training ordeal. \u00a0Her pulsing head had long since told her it was time to stop. \u00a0She had followed Keyanna\u2019s excited suggestion to look at weapons and walked with her to their next location.<\/span><\/p>\n

Keyanna seemed to know more about AD7 than she knew about herself. \u00a0That in itself was disturbing, but Keyanna only got more and more excited about sharing what she knew as they talked. \u00a0She even knew everything about AD7\u2019s old weapon, more than what was comfortable.<\/span><\/p>\n

As they talked, AD7 tried to be polite and maintain a bit of normalcy, but Keyanna made this very difficult. \u00a0Instead of walking beside her and talking normally, she hopped sideways while facing AD7. \u00a0AD7 could see the excitement in her eyes with a single glance but tried to look foreward. \u00a0Honestly, Keyanna was so giddy that AD7 was surprised she hadn\u2019t already been tackled by a screaming fan.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cPast videos had shown you using weapons like this,\u201d Keyanna smiled and almost screamed like a fangirl. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

AD7 managed a look at Keyanna. \u00a0She looked down to see that Keyanna had a large weight in each hand that she was quite proud of.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s strange,\u201d Keyanna started again. \u201cThey\u2019re very famous but very difficult to duplicate and are very, very hard to use,\u201d she paused to take a breath, \u201cbut we managed it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

AD7 took what was a replication of this famous icon. \u00a0This \u201cweapon\u201d was nothing more than, two large and <\/span>very <\/span><\/i>heavy spherical weights connected by a chain that had to be at least more than a decimeter long. \u00a0One of the weights had an enchant on it that looked fiery and explosive, slightly slippery and warm to the touch. \u00a0The other weight seemed a little heavier and was much colder. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The chain was very thin- thinner than it should be. \u00a0She measured out a centimeter of chain and decided to give it a test swing. \u00a0One swing was all it took for her to judge the weapon. \u00a0She was certain that if forced to use this thing as a weapon, she and many others around her would really need a healer.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think I can use this,\u201d AD7 said simultaneously disappointed and frustrated.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span> \u201cWhat\u2019s wrong with it?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2026 I can\u2019t use this.\u201d \u00a0AD7 was on the verge of tears. \u00a0She had relearned her talents. \u00a0She knew this weapon was used with her talents. \u00a0It felt familiar but incredibly unwieldy. \u00a0Why couldn\u2019t she use it!?<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll have to try something else then.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNo,\u201d AD7 sternly corrected, \u201cthe weapon is fine. \u00a0I\u2019ll just have to learn to use it again.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
